I’m So Glad It’s October!

I’m so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers.

Oh Anne Shirley…I couldn’t agree with you more!  I completely share your sentiment!  October is THE BEST!  It is a much anticipated month for me…probably because fall is my most favorite season and October ushers in this favorite season of mine. I am overjoyed that October is finally here and that it has brought with it the great gift of cooler temperatures!  Ahhhh!

And with the cool, crisp, refreshing air,  I desire more time outside…and spending more time outside is just good for the soul and adds a spring to my step. But October brings so much more than just cooler temperatures…it brings many opportunities to enjoy the nature and bring the outside in.

OH I love October!!!!! Everything you have shared is me. But there is one other thing that I do when fall comes….I hit the woods, gathering up woody things to bring inside. Moss covered branches, buckeyes, layers of different kinds of moss, cut tree branches of all the colors that I can reach. Your post brought back those memories for me. So I am headed to the woods to gather my goodies, have a great fall. Thanks Brit!

Hey Martha, thanks so much for chiming in on Brit’s October post. I really is one of my favorite months of the year. Littlest One and I were out a few weeks back collecting plant seeds for a school project, and this weekend we were collecting leaves for another project. I love getting outside in nature with her…and trying my best to answer her questions. I hope you found some great goodies today! Take care, D.
