WHAT WE DO
Redeem Your Ground approaches things differently.
Redeem Your Ground is not your typical landscape design firm — our approach is quite different. Because we consider your needs more broadly, we’re really more a mix of yard consultant, designer, family therapist, lifestyle coach, and camp counselor.
A Different Approach
If you work with Redeem Your Ground you’ll find that how we work with you is different from other landscape design firms in two primary ways.
First, you'll discover that our focus is less about plants & hardscapes and more about you & how you want to live outside. The rest of the design process is easy … well sorta. But getting to the heart of what’s unique about you & your family and what you want to do & feel in your outdoor spaces is the difficult, but most important part of any project. The design and any recommendations we will make flow from there.
Second, we will help you figure out the best approach to meet your specific objectives — functional, design, budgetary, timing, and sequencing. That may mean that we develop a conceptual design for you that we collaboratively hand off to an installer. But it may also mean that we recommend that you wait, do-it-yourself, or go directly to a landscape installer. It all just depends on your situation.
Some may say this is bad business, but we don't. We believe that this unique, client-focused approach brings you the most value ... which ultimately is great business.
Consultation | Onsite or Remote
Every project starts with some sort of consultation, which is likely primed by an online survey.
- Our online survey not only helps us better understand the scope of your project and your likes & dislikes, it also helps you get all your thoughts down on paper ... and possibly come up with new ideas.
- If we conduct an Onsite Consultation we'll walk and talk — and as we do we’ll get to understand what makes you & your family tick, your dreams for your outdoor spaces, your priorities & parameters, as well as what your property “has to say”.
- If it's a Remote Consultation (outside the greater Atlanta area) we won't do any walking, but we'll do a good bit of talking — supported by as many pictures, videos, and documentation that you can provide ... all with the hopes of getting to understand your hopes & dreams for your yard and the scope of your project.
- For both an Onsite or Remote Consultation we simply charge you an hourly fee.
From there we'll discuss next steps and come up with a plan for moving forward.

Yard Triage Plan
If you are a DIY'er or don't feel like you need a full-blown Conceptual Landscape Design, a Yard Triage Plan may be just what you're looking for.
- After our consultation(s) we’ll provide you with a prioritized list of action items and recommended next steps that we can review onsite or remotely.
- This is typically done on a flat fee based on the scope of what needs to be done.
Conceptual Landscape Design
The most important aspect of any landscape project is knowing where you’re going and what you’re doing. That’s where having a Conceptual Landscape Design that reflects you and how you want to live outside is critical. If you don’t have one, things can go very wrong, very fast … and get very expensive.
- What you’ll get with a Conceptual Landscape Design is a birds-eye rendering of the outdoor spaces that are included in the scope of your project, drawn to scale.
- It will serve as the the blueprint for the installation phase of your project — regardless of if you do it yourself or if you hire an installer.
- Design is an iterative process, so there may be several meetings before we're done — and some of those meetings may include one of my recommended installers if you know you're moving directly into installation.
- We charge a flat fee for most Conceptual Landscape Designs based on the size and scope of the project.
- Note: Most designs require that you have a survey of your property to share with us.

Installation | Referrals
Regardless of how you initially engage with Redeem Your Ground, we’ll help you bring your landscape project to completion — or at least as far as you want to take it.
- Once we understand you, your needs, project scope, and budget we’ll provide you with a recommended plan of attack, tailored to your unique situation.
- If you’re looking for a turn-key solution, our installation partners can take your Conceptual Landscape Design and make it into reality – transforming your landscape into the outdoor spaces of your dreams.
- If your project is outside of our wheelhouse or our install partners' production schedules don't meet your needs, we’ll refer you to our network of other qualified vendors, installers, and local artisans.
Whatever the case, we’ll help you find the solution that’s right for you. At the end of the day all we want to do is help you redeem your ground.
