A Couple of Easter Activities…for the Family Planner
First of all…I’m clearly, admitedly…and frankly…unashamedly…NOT our family planner. Britt…clearly, admittedly, and fortunately for our girls and me…IS. So to do my part…and to help Britt’s fellow family planners out just a bit, I thought that I’d re-post a couple Easter activities she posted on last year…so that you could get a head-start.
Easter Egg Birdseed Ornaments
It’s crazy what you can do with a little bit of birdseed, corn syrup, and some twine…oh, and a plastic egg. So for those of you with kids…who are looking for a way to connect and get them outside, check out this post. And soon your bushes will be adorned with some pretty cool looking eggs…and your yard will be filled with some very happy birds.
Easter Egg Scavenger Hunt
After you’ve made your birdseed ornaments, take those very same plastic Easter eggs…wash them off and use them for an Easter Egg Scavenger Hunt. If you’re interested…this is a great way to get beyond all the chocolate, jelly beans, and marshmallow bunnies. Click here to learn more and to get your hands on a couple handy-dandy scavenger hunt printables.
Alright…with all that planning assistance, I’m wiped out. I need to get back to living in the moment. But I have to admit, I’m so thankful for my family planner…because without her, you’d likely find me sitting in the corner of an empty room filled with a lot moments not too very exciting to live in!
Take care,
